VMC Performance Company
Our Vancouver Movement Collective Performance Company gives dancers age 12-20 the experience of a preparatory dance environment for a future in the dance field. Our company is an invitation-only group led by Artistic Director Chloe Mason. Company members learn and perform a repertoire of original choreography in a variety of dance styles. Our weekly commitment for Company members includes at least one ballet technique class, at least one non-ballet technique class, and one weekly company rehearsal. Company members have several performance opportunities in our studio shows, as well as the possibility of other performances and competitions throughout the year.

Kat Vavilin
Kat is 13 years old and is so excited to be joining CDA (now VMC) Performance Company! She has been dancing for seven years, and mainly has a passion for ballet. She loves ballet because of the gracefulness and

emotion that can be portrayed through it. Aside from dancing, she enjoys cooking, reading, and being with her friends.

Levi is an 11th grader at River HomeLink and is so stoked to be able to be a part of the VMC (formerly CDA) Company. Levi found his love for dance from performing in theatre shows and has further stoked that flame

Levi Joslin
while he has been dancing at CDA (now VMC) since September of 2024. He loves being able to learn ballet, contemporary, and choreography because it lets him express himself through his body instead of his words which he finds difficult sometimes. Besides dancing, Levi enjoys, hanging out with friends, collecting card decks, working out, and listening to music. Levi hopes that the encouraging and uplifting environment and community will help inspire many more dancers to pursue their dreams.
